In the earlier years of my marriage, it would be safe for me to say, that my husband and I didn’t always see eye to eye. We both tend to sport stubborn, my way because I’m right, type mentalities. So as you can well imagine, we had our fair share of fervent disagreements!
As the years have progressed I have learned to try to embrace a meek and gentle spirit. To lay down what I sometimes feel as my right to be right. It isn’t always easy. At times words, opinions, and bossiness broil right out of my mouth almost before I have time to think. Anger and selfishness take front stage as I voice MY thoughts, feelings and ideas.
Oh, to be meek.
