Breakfast
Our hens are laying very faithfully even on these bitter cold days. I love it when my son brings in the eggs and there is a speckled one.
Multi-Colored
Little Miss likes to dress herself these days and most often she is VERY multi-colored! Not to mention the myriad of colors involved when you start playing with Polly Pockets. This is what I love about laid back Saturdays… just being able to play quietly and wear the most comfy clothes you have in your closet!

I don’t know what the future holds for her, but I pray it will be beautiful and blessed as she serves the Lord with all her heart.

Gorgeous photos, as always! I would love fresh eggs for breakfast! Actually, I can't eat eggs for breakfast (not ready for protein that early in the day), but I'd love fresh eggs for lunch or dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteI woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep, so I thought I'd do something fun instead...so nice to see such beauty. Love your photos and creativity this week.
ReplyDeleteThose eggs are beautiful...so unlike the boring white ones that come in my grocery store carton. My favorite is the last photo...what a beautiful, thoughtful portrait.
ReplyDeleteHow nice for you to be able to enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast. Such sweet pics of your children...so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely photos. My fave is that last BW portrait. I like images where the viewer my imagine what the subject is seeing or thinking. Wish I had fresh eggs, but don't wish I had chickens. It's a compromise.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
What beautiful shots of your children! The pic of eggs is my fave! Have a fabulous week...
ReplyDeleteEggs are my weakness. I loved this set!
ReplyDeleteLove your first shot!

Love the POV on the eggs! And those rolls, yummy!!
ReplyDeletethose eggs are gorgeous!! and it looks like we are praying the same for the future of our daughters...
ReplyDeletethe last shot gives me goosebumps! I have three kids and two girls. I pray everyday for the same thing!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos in this post. You are so blessed that your hens continue to lay even during this cold snap. The homestead were we get our eggs has slowed down quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteHailey loves Polly Pockets, too. One advantage to homeschooling is you can wear whatever you want and no one is going to make fun of you :) I say that as my son is sitting on the couch watching "War Horse" in his kilt, tam and WWI jacket, complete with homemade gas mask made out of plastic cups and paper, LOL.
These are all wonderful shots. I love the egg picture. I always like speckled eggs too, but my girls seem to have decided to go on winter hiatus for now.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...these are amazing! Love your future and C images!
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos in this collection and I liked reading what you said about each photo. Well done.
