A. Received a well thrown snowball with a stone so sweetly embedded in it.
B. Played make-up with daughter.
C. Forgot to say, “Yes, dear!”
D. While working on car, tripped over saucer sled, flailed uncontrollably before slamming face into ladder hanging on wall, narrowly escaping impalement on a sharp protrusion nearby.
E. All of the above
Yes, he is so very stoic in these photos. Strong, serious and absolutely hilarious looking with a black eye.
*I would highly advise you not choose option “C”! Joel thought it quite comical to tell the guys at work that he either forgot to say, “Yes, dear” or “This is what I got when I told her I wasn’t getting her anything for Christmas.”:) HMMMMM.
It can't be B. Any little girl would have made sure to put the lipstick on first, before daddy changed his mind.
ReplyDeleteI've already been advised not to choose C.
If the answer is E, then I'd say Joel must have broken a mirror or walked under a ladder recently.
A is likely, but I'm going to go with option D! There were way too many details in that for it not to be true. :o)
I'd guess D...the workin' on the car incident.
ReplyDeleteYep, when Farm Boy had an injury of the face...I always take the blame.
Guess ya just don't mess with us country gals! Heeehehehe!
God bless ya and have a great day. Hopefully Hubs eye will heal quickly! :o)
Wow! That's a lovely eye. I'm going to pick D.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm jealous over all this snow you have, I'll choose A.
ReplyDeletenow hurry up mr. hollywood and tell us what happened!!!
He always has quite a sense of humor. I'm glad he didn't hurt himself worse! Maybe next time he'll remember to use his manners ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a serious and rugged looking man....So Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteDid you all hear anything about your car?
What a week you are having!!!
Thinking of you.
XO
Nasty! I'm glad to see that he still has his eye! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Camille
Poor thing! :(
ReplyDeleteAh, multiple choice! My favorite! ;)
ReplyDeleteTo save Joel, I would have chosen the snowball. My 16 year old son years ago upon seeing snow for the first time grabbed what he saw (it was solid ice), packed it and hit me in the head. I quickly learned when being hit hard enough you seriously do see stars! Joel gets kudos for letting you post this!
