One of the most amazing revelations of God comes to us when we learn that is is in the everyday things of life that we realize the magnificent deity of Jesus Christ. ~Oswald Chambers

Do you see God in the everyday?  Or do you rush through each moment, each hour, each day?

I’ve been guilty of rushing.

But, when I slow down, when I am still, I see God everywhere, in everything.

In the splendor of spring.

In the tremendous bounty He provides.

He’s in it all!

Jesus our Savior, lover of our souls.

He is magnificent, holy, beautiful God!

I am astounded.

  1. I have been feeling this way for a month now! Everywhere I turn, I see HIM!! I am excited by your post because I feel it, too. I just want to shout it out and so I do my best. Words fail me so I try to capture it in pictures. I want the world to see what we see:) He IS magnificent! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photography and your love for the Lord!

  2. I loved this post so much! Thank you for sharing. Beautiful pictures and a great reminder for me today.

  3. Holy smokes- these are incredible!!! Ever single one held me there in awe!

  4. i haven't had lunch yet, and your sandwich made
my tummy growl! your sentiments are true
    and lovely.

  5. So sweet. Lovely vegetables and cute children to be great in photos.

  6. Yes, indeed...HE is WONDERFUL!!!

Are you getting tired of my telling you how beautiful your photos are?? :)

    Love to you!

  7. I think I needed this reminder to slow down... a bit more.

That sandwich - so pretty. I was thinking when I saw it how long it would take to thoroughly chew it...and the verse came to mind.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Ps. 34:8

That's what slowing down is for me right now. Long enough to taste, savor and digest his goodness.

I really needed this visual reminder. ;)
