10 Years Ago...

God blessed us with a beautiful baby boy!

He gave us a scare at first. I remember my heart felt like it was breaking, because there was nothing I could do for him. I prayed and cried for my little son. As it turned out, he came along just fine after 24 hours in the Special Care Nursery. He still had some difficulties that we weren't able to pin down until he was almost 6 months old. It wasn't life threatening, but he was miserable and cried a good portion of the days and nights for the first 9 months of his life. He and I ended up sleeping on the couch for the first year of his life because he was so uncomfortable.

Early in his life his imagination began to show! He loves to play many different characters and he must have the appropriate attire for each and every one!

Well, lookey here, we have Davey Crocket, Roy Rogers and Luke Skywalker. Its a good thing he has a grandma that indulges his need for these outfits!

It has been a wonderful 10 years, with my little spitfire and I am looking forward to continuing this wonderful journey with him. He makes me laugh, pummels me with questions and entertains me with stories. He is pure love, life and joy!
