It’s gloomy here today.
A definite late Autumn day. Thick gray clouds are scuttling across the sky. A stiff breeze has stripped the trees of their colorful coverings.
Indian summer is a thing of the past, I think.
I’ve lit candles. Lots of candles!
Flickering flames are making me feel cozy, as I remember the bright, bold colors of two weeks ago.
Now, the only item missing in this blustery, gray day is a hot mug filled to the brim with a homemade Pumpkin Latte!
I think I might just have to indulge!
What? A homemade pumpkin latte? Please tell me your recipe is on the recipe blog! I'm feeling a bit under the weather and that sounds so comforting. That or maybe a nice cup of tea! Hope your day is cozy!
ReplyDeleteIced tea here all the way today baby. It's 76 right now up from the 36 that met me this morn but they say a cold rainy front is comin' for the weekend. So I'm gettin' ready for that hot mug of latte!

I make it with espresso and raw milk.
Love you dear friend.
Beautiful pictures! It is still really nice here. We're having a beautiful Indian summer. Supposed to get cold by this weekend though. Making the kids play outside while they still have a chance!
ReplyDeleteJenn, I think you sent those breezes to my state. All night the winds howled. The sunis not up yet, but I can't imagine we have too many leaves yet. I enjoy your photography! Are you a professional photographer?
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures!!
ReplyDeleteHave a Latte for me too, it sounds wonderful! Your photos are exquisite! The color is so vibrant and pretty and makes me feel good just looking at them. Have a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteI am searching immediately for a recipe. I have never made a latte in my life but I want to try. Thanks for the idea. God bless.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, Jenn!
ReplyDeleteAren't those gorgeous colors God created? I miss the leaves changing. We jsut moved to Florida and while we're in the Northern area, we still won;t see that much in the way of bright reds, golds, etc. Glad to see you're still blogging Jenn. I always love to read your posts. I finally posted after 15 months, come check it out!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS photos! And YUM...that latte sounds super delish ~ would you mind if I dropped by? :)
