Reliving Autumn’s Past Splendor

It’s gloomy here today.
A definite late Autumn day.  Thick gray clouds are scuttling across the sky. A stiff breeze has stripped the trees of their colorful coverings.
Indian summer is a thing of the past, I think.
I’ve lit candles. Lots of candles!
Flickering flames are making me feel cozy, as I remember the bright, bold colors of two weeks ago.

Now, the only item missing in this blustery, gray day is a hot mug filled to the brim with a homemade Pumpkin Latte!
I think I might just have to indulge!

  1. What? A homemade pumpkin latte? Please tell me your recipe is on the recipe blog! I'm feeling a bit under the weather and that sounds so comforting. That or maybe a nice cup of tea! Hope your day is cozy!

  6. Beautiful pictures! It is still really nice here. We're having a beautiful Indian summer. Supposed to get cold by this weekend though. Making the kids play outside while they still have a chance!

  11. Aren't those gorgeous colors God created? I miss the leaves changing. We jsut moved to Florida and while we're in the Northern area, we still won;t see that much in the way of bright reds, golds, etc. Glad to see you're still blogging Jenn. I always love to read your posts. I finally posted after 15 months, come check it out!
