The Princess of Everything

Our life with Sissy is interesting to say the least. Her grandparents have dubbed her the "Princess of Everything". That title alone should give you a pretty good idea of how our days play out.

Today we went-a-visiting. We took a trip to visit my parents who were camping about 45 min. away from where we live. Grandma and Grandpa decided to do a cookout for lunch with the kids. While we were getting everything ready Sissy was sitting at the picnic table. What she was doing I don't know. I was in a happy place because she wasn't chastising someone with her yelp and scream routine.

This didn't last long because Caleb naively sat down next to her. A big no no, I guess, because she lit into him. She laid on her best scream and Caleb quickly exited. Ya know when your 2 you own even the picnic tables at a state park. My mom started singing the Frank Sinatra song "I did it my way" to Lauren. We all decided it should be her mantra. Jacob, however, piped up and said, "Ya know Grandma she wrote that!" I wholeheartedly agree! She could have!

  1. Lauren is so adorable!
That is too funny that your mom sang "I Did It My Way" to her! My son is two and it could also be his theme song! It's so funny how they have their own ideas at this age and are so adamant about them!

  2. What a cutie! My Andrew is 3 1/2 and has the same personality as Lauren. It's funny to see the older boys running from him when they've pushed him too far.
