A learning experience at every turn!
The third reason why we homeschool is purely selfish. I love to teach! It is one of my passions. I even went to college, earned my teaching degree and put it to short use. I taught for one year when Isaac was a baby. I enjoyed my job and loved the children I taught. But a deeper and stronger passion emerged when I had my son and that was to be at home with him. So now I have the best of both worlds! I get to keep on learning and sharing what I have learned with my children. What could be better!
So now I have my own "school" where I can be the principal and the teacher! But honestly, I would rather my husband be the principal and then I could just pour all my energy into being the best teacher I can be! I love our homeschool and I couldn't imagine it any other way!
